Canterbury Public School does not believe in corporal punishment. We endeavour to instill a sense of self discipline in the children and in this respect, the students and the staff have evolved a code of conduct relating to people, work, and the school environment. The Student Council in the Middle/Senior school assists the staff team on matters of discipline, and are actively involved in the planning and implementation of school initiatives.

Students learn how to handle the freedom they are bestowed with, with responsibility, which turns them into responsible citizens enjoying to the hilt the rich co curricular offerings and opportunities the school provides.
